Ohm-Labs’ KV-A portable precision high voltage dividers measure up to 30 kV dc and 20 kV ac (50/60 Hz rms).

TThe KV-A dividers are designed to minimize changes from temperature and applied voltage. They may be operated continuously up to full rated voltage without damage.

The KV-10A and KV-30A have two dc ratio outputs: 1,000:1 and 10,000:1. They have a single ac ratio output: 1,000:1.

DC outputs feature an impedance matching switch for use with voltmeters with an input impedance of 10 megohm or >10 gigaohm.

The ac output is designed for measurement of line frequency (50/60 Hz) voltages. The rms ac input voltage rating is roughly 2/3 the dc rating. The ac output is matched for ac meters with an input impedance of 1 megohm.

Binding post outputs are gold plated tellurium copper to minimize thermal emf errors. The KV-10A and KV-30A input is via a locking high voltage cable terminated in a 0.25 inch (6 mm) ring terminal.

All KV-A dividers include ISO 17025 accredited calibration through full voltage range.
