The CS-500 to CS-3000 Precision Current Shunts are designed for precise measurement of higher currents. A recent design upgrade has improved the accuracy of these shunts.

The CS-series shunts are rated for full continuous current with no loss of accuracy. Heat generated by the measurement current is adequately dissipated by the surface area of the exposed elements.

The CS-500 to CS-3000 are open, parallel blade construction. They have been found to agree well between DC and 50/60 cycles, but are not recommended for pulse or high frequency use.

All shunts INCLUDE ISO 17025 accredited calibration through full rated current.

For the highest precision applications, a temperature sensor can be bonded to the shunt element, and current / temperature characterization can be provided. Please see the Temperature Option for an example of this characterization. 100 ohm RTD, type T thermocouple and 10 K thermistor sensors are available.

Custom fitted transit cases are included with purchase.
